What a night for Pima football! I was buzzing with excitement to live stream this rematch against Scottsdale Christian Academy, the team that knocked us out of the championship last year. With the Graham County Fair in town, I knew it would be a tough choice for some families between the gridiron and the Ferris wheel, but luckily, Need4Sports was there to bring the game to those who couldn't make it!
This game was special for another reason too: the debut of our first-ever Need4Sports announcer, Mike Omega! Mike, a good friend and a true football enthusiast, brought an incredible energy to the live stream. He was insightful, enthusiastic, and added a whole new dimension to the viewing experience. (Mike, you rock!)
Despite a few technical hiccups (we're always learning!), I think this was one of my best live streams yet. Mike and I had a blast calling the game and sharing our thoughts with the viewers. And what a game it was! A real nail-biter that had fans on the edge of their seats until the final seconds.
SCA held the lead for most of the match, but Pima never gave up. With just two minutes left on the clock, they pulled off an amazing comeback, scoring a touchdown on 4th down with a long bomb from Cedrick Grimes to Preston Russell. The stadium erupted! SCA fought hard to regain the lead, but Pima's defense held strong, securing a 20-17 victory.
Huge thanks to my amazing sponsors who make these live streams possible: Optimal Health Systems, Doorman Stan, and Rattlesnake Exterminating. Your support means everything!
And of course, thank YOU to everyone who tuned in, chatted, and cheered along with us. Your support keeps Need4Sports going. I'm already working on getting the photos from the game and will have a slideshow up soon. Stay tuned for more Roughrider action!
P.S. I didn't get as many instant replays as I usually like to, but I'm working on improving that. If you're really keen to see those few replays, let me know and I can upload them separately.
P.P.S. Don't forget to join the Need4Sports Facebook page for more updates and behind-the-scenes content!
